We had a special helper on car rider duty this morning at Lamar Elementary! 🐾
Meet Marshall, our newest Warrior, alongside his handler 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Bratton. Marshall is a therapy dog who has recently joined the team at Lamar Elementary, and he’s already making mornings a little brighter for our students and staff.
Therapy dogs can help create a calm, welcoming environment for students, and we’re excited to see the positive impact Marshall will have on our school community.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we share more about Marshall and the important role he’ll play with our students!

Lamar High School students recently had the opportunity to attend the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast through the Walton Arts Center Bridges to Broadway program.
Students enrolled in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Film & Literature, Choir, and Band experienced the magic of live Broadway theatre—many for the very first time. This unforgettable experience brought classroom learning to life and gave our students a firsthand look at the artistry, storytelling, and collaboration that go into a Broadway production.
We’re grateful for opportunities like this that expand horizons and inspire creativity in our Warriors. 🧡🖤

A small number of bus routes will continue with modified routes this afternoon and tomorrow morning due to remaining unsafe areas.
Families can view the continued snow route modifications on our website.
