Lamar’s EAST students brought home some big recognition at the EAST Conference held March 17–19.
The program was awarded the Founder’s Award, one of the top honors given at the conference. This award recognizes programs that are going above and beyond—using technology, creativity, and teamwork to make a real impact.
Along with that, Isaac Rowbotham was named a finalist in the Web Design and Experience Competition, highlighting the strong work our students are doing in design and digital development.
The EAST Conference brings together students from across the region to share projects, compete, and learn from each other. For Lamar students, it’s an opportunity to put their skills to the test and see how their work stacks up at a high level.
Moments like this reflect what makes Lamar special—students aren’t just learning content, they’re building real skills, solving real problems, and gaining experiences that prepare them for what comes next.
We’re proud of this group and the way they continue to represent our school and community.
