The Lamar School District has the following openings for the 2025-2026 School Year:

  • Middle School Counselor

  • Technology Assistant:

      Interested individuals should contact the Lamar Technology Coordinator, Greg Tindell, at gtindell@lamarwarriors.org

  • Certified teaching position K-8 for the 2025-2026 school year.  

    Applicants will be placed in a pool for interview consideration.  The District will select and interview applicants as needed based on performance, effectiveness, and qualifications to fill the vacancy of a K-8 position.  Placement of certified hires shall be determined at district discretion, need, and certification.

  • Payroll Clerk

    Qualifications:
    A high school diploma or equivalent
    Knowledge of payroll guidelines and procedures
    Experience with public school E-FinancePlus preferred
    Ability to use computers and software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Complete payroll for all employees
    Establish and maintain appropriate employee withholding related to benefits and taxes for all employees
    Establish and maintain payroll direct deposit accounts and bank cards as necessary
    Collect and maintain information related to hours worked, and verify accuracy of information
    Calculate overtime hours worked as needed
    Other duties as assigned

  3. ​Provide references who have knowledge of your qualifications for the positions you are seeking, including superintendents and principals under whom you have taught.  Please provide 4 or more.
