Most 9th and 10th graders will participate in Interim 1, Interim 2 and Summative EOC ATLAS assessment, spaced out over the course of the 2025-2026 school year.

Students enrolled in Algebra I, Geometry and Biology will take their respective exam. ALL 9th and 10th graders will take the ELA exam.

Families may access scores through the "ATLAS Family Portal." Please contact Mrs. Zimmerman for your 6-Character access code.

Lamar High School 11th graders have the opportunity to participate in the State of Arkansas provided ACT® exam in the Spring of 2026. This one-time exam opportunity is administered on-campus and is free of charge.

If a student desires to take the exam multiple times or outside of the state provided opportunity, they must locate a test center, pay and register using the "ACT National Test Dates" link.

Lamar High School 12th graders will have the opportunity to take the WorkKeys assessment which measures foundational skills applicable to workplace success.

The results provide feedback covering a range of skills relevant to occupations across a range of industries. Students whom score a level 3-6 may apply to receive the NCRC certificate.

In partnership with Arkansas Tech University - Ozark, students will have multiple opportunity's to register and take the ACCUPLACER exam on-campus, free of charge.

The ACCUPLACER was developed to test college readiness and determine the most appropriate introductory college-level courses. Many Arkansas post-secondary institutions now recognize the ACCUPLACER exam as a qualifying Admissions exam score.

All students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses may take the relative AP exam at the end of the school year. Students MUST take the exam to receive the weighted credit. The deadline to opt out of the end-of-year exam is October 15, 2025.

Most post-secondary institutions will award Concurrent Credit for exam scores of 3 and higher.

The completion of the Arkansas Civics Exam with a score of 60% or higher graduation requirement for students enrolled in Civics within the State of Arkansas.

This exam is administered digitally, on-campus, and during Civics class in the Spring Semester of the school year. The test is 100 questions and assesses the student's understanding of American government and history.

Lamar High School 10th graders will take the PSAT within the Fall Semester of each school year. This exam is a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship and is good practice for those interested in taking the SAT later on.

The PSAT is given digitally and includes a Reading and Writing and Math section. The results include personal recommendations for AP courses that are a good fit.

Lamar High School students may request the opportunity to take the Armed Services Aptitude Battery on-campus. A date will then be requested and set for a military recruiter to proctor the exam.

Each military branch requires a minimum score for enlistment (AFQT).
