What is I-Tunes U ?
Arkansas I-Tunes U was developed by the ADE as a way to allow teachers and students across the state to upload and share videos or podcast with their fellow Faculty and Students. Lamar School District is proud to share this valuable resource with all of its Faculty and Students. There are some things that will have to be done in order for you to use the service but can be done fairly easily.
How do I use I-Tunes U ?
It is very simple to do so, we have placed a link at the bottom of this page. When clicked it will take you to site that will open I-Tunes on your computer. Once you get into I-Tunes it will offer the ability to show videos or podcast that other members have posted to I-Tunes U for Arkansas. You can then download them to your computer or just view them from the program.
What do I need to do to get Started ?
First and foremost, this service requires that you have I-Tunes installed on you computer. If you already have it installed, then all you need to do is click the link at the bottom of the page.Most of you will not, by default have I-Tunes installed on your computer. In order to get the program installed the Technology Department will have to install it for you. Although you can go out to the internet and download I-Tunes, PLEASE DO NOT DO SO. We have a version that we can install from our servers without you having to download it, the process will work much easier using this method
If you wish to utilize the service, we will need some information from you. You can request the install be completed by filling out the form below. Once you have been notified that the install has been completed, you can visit this page again and click the link below to access Arkansas I-Tunes U.
If you already have I-Tunes installed, there is no need to fill out the form, all you have to do is just click the link below to access the I-Tunes Site, it will then open I-Tunes and navigate to the proper portal for you. This process may take a bit short time as the computer is having to open I-Tunes in order for access to be grated.
If you are not sure if you have I-Tunes installed, please follow the steps below to check you computer for an I-Tunes Install.
1. Click Start
2. Select All Programs
3. Look for a Folder or Icon that Says I-Tunes, if you do not see it then you most likely do not have I-Tunes installed and will need to fill out the form to request the install.
